The Rankin House in Columbus, Georgia was the perfect spot for Elizabeth and John’s wedding and reception. Constructed between 1860 - 1870, this pillar of history has been adored throughout the years. As Executive Director of Historic Columbus Foundation, Elizabeth’s office is on the second floor of this stunning house. Ironically, the Rankin House has been the home of several of John’s ancestors. The ceremony took place on the front lawn under a gorgeous gazebo with the reception following throughout the interior of the home and on the back terrace. A little rain did not “dampen” the day! Rain on the wedding day brings good luck!
